Degustation de Delicieux
Whether it’d be the aroma of fresh foie gras or the heavenly taste of soufflés, French restaurants have undoubtedly become my favorite as I enjoy eating small but filling servings for dinner. T’was my grandfather’s birthday and so our our family decided to eat at a French resto for a change. I teased my angkong about how we always celebrate our birthdays (except for mine since we do it at Italianni’s) at either Gloria Maris or Peking Garden, so he proposed having it in Zuni. I smiled upon reading his SMS confirming this.
Pardon me for the bad photos. Was only using my BB to take the shots, and I wasn’t able to take a picture of everything too.
Nonetheless, have a taste of Zuni’s wonderful menu -

Pan-fried Foie Gras and Caramelized Apple Salad

Mom and I decided to split our entrées instead of the solo orders that we usually do. Pictured above is my plate, featuring the Ostrich Creole and the Pan Roasted U.S. Duck Breast in Adobo Jus.

Mango soufflé with mango cream sauce for dessert. Delicious.
